The Further Maths course is assessed as follows:
Internal assessment (SACs) 1/3
Multiple choice exam 1/3
Extended response exam 1/3
The SACs will be;
SAC 1 - Data Analysis (Ch 1 to 4). An application task lasting about a week near the end of Term 1. It is worth 40 marks.
SAC 2 - Matrices (Ch.16). A two period test with both multiple choice and extended response questions. 20 marks.
SAC 3 - Graphs and relations (Ch. 10 and 11). A two period test. 20 marks.
SAC 4 - Networks and Decision Maths (Ch. 14 and 15). Two period test. 20 marks.
The CAS calculator and a single bound book are permitted in all SACs and exams.
